A stretch mark removal cream that works without an acid or laser burning TRAUMA to your skin
Summary: New natural scar treatment procedure, effective and convenient, without the pitfalls of harsh chemical peeling or strong abrading procedures or burning by cosmetic laser surgery for treatment of stretch marks.
Microdermabrasion for stretch marks
Microdermabrasion may be a helpful procedure to consider for stubborn, older white stretch marks.
Microdermabrasion is a procedure where tiny particles "sand" or "polish" the skin and gradually remove scarred or discolored epidermal tissue. Microscopic studies have supported the effectiveness of microdermabrasion. This procedure is performed in a variety of settings from dermatologist and plastic surgery offices to some spas and high end aesthetician clinics, or you can try it yourself with our BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM WITH MICRODERMABRASION CRYSTALS = BIOSKINEXFOL™.
BIOSKINCARE Cream is a natural remedy for the prevention and removal of stretch marks and is recommended to accelerate skin renewal and rebuilding of healthy collagen skin cells even after microdermabrasion, laser resurfacing or harsh peels.
Methods that mildly abrade skin such as microdermabrasion and subcision (needling) are useful in speeding scar reduction in concert with BIOSKINCARE CREAM. Some old scars are very hard and tough and physical breakdown allows the enzymes in the cream to dissolve the scars more quickly. For raised or flat scars and for rough stretch marks, microdermabrasion works well. For depressed scars, such as pitted acne scars, subcision with needles is often used by estheticians to break up the deeply buried scar tissue.
Skin Remodeling is the Key to Scar Reduction
The removal or reduction of scars, lesions, and stretch marks from the skin depends on a process called "skin remodeling". The skin is designed to heal wounds quickly to prevent blood loss and infection. Scars are manufactured from a rapidly formed "collagen glue" that the body deposits into an injured area for protection and strength. In ideal skin healing, wounded skin is rapidly closed, then the healed area is slowly reconstructed to remove the residual collagen scars and blend the skin area into nearby skin. Scar collagen is removed and replaced with a mixture of skin cells and invisible collagen fibers.
This skin remodeling may continue in a skin area for ten years. In children the remodeling rate is high and scars are usually rapidly removed from injured skin areas. But as we reach adulthood, this rate diminishes and small scars may remain for years. One way to accelerate remodeling is to induce a small amount of controlled skin damage with a needle, laser, microdermabrasion, scrubbing massage or other means, and then let the body repair processes rebuild the skin area. A second method is to use skin healing accelerators to increase the body's natural healing processes to obtain an even better final results.
The best stretch mark creams are not the ones that are rich in elastin and collagen, but those that trigger the generation of collagen, elasting and the water holding capacity of healthy skin. Collagen is the building block of skin, and elastin is the protein which gives skin its elasticity. By increasing the levels of these proteins in your skin from within, not by trying to add them from the outside, you can speed up cell rejuvenation and thicken the epidermal layer. Stretch marks will look better, and they will feel better to the touch.
BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM is made with a complex compound of powerful biologically protein enzymes, copper peptides, proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans. The compound acts as a biological activator of both the elimination of dead and damaged skin cells and the renewal of healthy collagen and elastin proteins within your skin.
With repeated use, twice a day, BIOSKINCARE™ "digests" damaged cells, gently dissolves skin lesions, reduces scars and removes flaws. It also destroys pathogens and creates an environment that triggers the regeneration of normal collagen and a healthy skin. Nourishes the skin and protects it from oxidative damage due to free radicals. Improves elasticity, increases density, moisture retention capacity and skin's firmness and leaves it baby soft and soothed.
Scrubbing massage routine: When using the cream for old and deep stretch marks, at night, two or three times a week (not more), you can also take a relaxing bath and apply a strong massage with a wooden massager and a body scrub to help exfoliate dead cells at a quick pace. Exfoliation will help remove the dull skin and the dead cells in the scars that show as stretch marks, but only if the skin has been sufficiently loosened by the bath. Apply the body scrub and some moisturizer of your choice (any Aloe Vera Gel or Lubriderm Cream) on the area to be massaged with the wooden massager. Once your skin is reddened apply BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM to speed skin recovery, an orderly layout of new collagen and elastin fibers and the build up of glycosaminoglycans, the molecules that restore moisture capacity and allow your skin to withstand compression forces and avoid stretch marks.

Microdermabrasion for stretch marks and scars

Several skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, striae, photodamage, and skin cancers may cause a woman to seek professional medical assistance, with treatments like microdermabrasion for stretch marks. It is important for clinicians and patients to be aware of the symptoms of these conditions as well as the most beneficial approaches for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management. The life expectancy of women has increased and predictions for the year 2050 estimate the average age at 81 years. This will place women at greater risk for dermatological problems, especially photodamage and skin cancer.
In addition, various ethnic groups may manifest these conditions differently. Although acne is most prevalent among teenaged males, most can expect clearing by age 25. Females may continue to experience acne into the adult years, sometimes beyond the age of 40. Although it is not a life-threatening disease, acne may have psychosocial and quality-of-life consequences. Treatments for acne can be topical or systemic, and include retinoids, antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, and hormonal therapy.
Rosacea is more common in women (especially during menopause) than in men. It is a chronic condition that can cause complications, including telangiectasia, conjunctivitis, and blepharitis. Although there is no cure, rosacea can be managed and controlled with medication. Topical antibiotics, such as metronidazole, and systemic antibiotics, such as tetracycline, clarithromycin, and doxycycline, are used to manage rosacea.
Striae, or stretch marks, occur most frequently in pregnant women, adolescents experiencing growth spurts, weight lifters, and the obese. Although not a health threat, they can be psychologically distressing. There are not many treatment options for striae, but topical tretinoin and the pulsed dye laser offer promising results; a good stretch marks microdermabrasion product is also an option.
Intrinsic, or normal, aging of the skin results from the process of chronological aging. A skin rejuvenation cream is always a good choice.
Photodamage is skin damage caused by chronic exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. It is the leading cause of extrinsic aging, or alterations of the skin due to environmental exposure. Estimates indicate that almost half of a person's UV exposure occurs by age 18. Photoaging causes numerous histologic, physiologic, and clinical changes; it also increases the risk for skin cancer. Photodamage can be prevented through the use of sun screens, protective clothing, and avoidance of the sun during peak intensity time. The only product approved by the FDA for the treatment of photodamage (fine wrinkles, mottled hyperpigmentation, and skin roughness), topical tretinoin emollient cream, may help prevent additional photoaging when it is used to treat existing photoaging. Other management options for photodamaged skin include alpha-hydroxy acids, antioxidants, antiandrogens, moisturizers, and exfoliants. In patients with excessive manifestations of photodamage, surgical management may be needed, including dermabrasion, chemical peels, soft tissue augmentation, laser resurfacing, botulism toxin, and Gortex threads.
Clinicians must educate their patients about the most appropriate skin care regimen as well as approaches for preventing and treating common afflictions. In this way, women will have the best opportunity for having and maintaining healthy skin.
